How Suite702 built authority in premium bedding, collection by collection

Executive summary

Suite702 is a Dutch premium bedding brand with a strong product and a loyal following. In search, its rankings sat in the mid-to-high twenties: visible for brand queries, with room to grow on the category and material searches that bring new customers in.

They sell across multiple bedding categories: dekbedovertrekken (duvet covers), dekbedden (duvets), kussenslopen (pillowcases), plus a full range of materials and colours within each. Search coverage across those categories was thin.  We built the content infrastructure to change that, and won page one in Dutch results for high intent category and material searches.

Results

  • Category and material searches broke onto page one: linnen dekbedovertrek climbed from the high thirties into the top ten, and bed sheets from the low twenties, both from little to no starting visibility.
  • Organic orders jumped 40% year on year in Q1 2026.
  • Non-branded search reach more than doubled: impressions up 100% and clicks up ~50% year on year, as new shoppers found Suite702 by category and material, not just by brand name.
  • By winning the specific searches, we built the authority underneath the broad category heads, dekbedovertrekken and dekbedden.

Our approach

The broad category terms are the hardest to win, so we built up to them. We started with the specific searches: materials, colours, and seasonal collections, stacking up wins there first. That authority then carries the big category pages upward. It is the Shopify SEO method we bring to any catalog, and eight months in, it is delivering.

Before writing anything, we mapped the full premium bedding search landscape: product categories, material types, colour and seasonal variants, and buying-guide content. This gave a clear picture of which pages needed to exist, in what order, and how they connect. Suite702 got a prioritised content roadmap to work through month by month.

Colour and material variants usually sit as filter states on one collection page. Across 100+ pages, we gave each its own dedicated, optimised page, with the right keyword focus, copy and internal links, and rewrote the category introductions and meta titles already live. That decision is where the ranking depth comes from: each page targets a single search intent. It is the same Shopify SEO approach we bring to any catalog.

We built a content framework specific to Suite702 before writing a single page. Every category page positions the product inside the world the brand calls The SUITE Life: confident, advisory, quietly commercial. Headings read as an invitation. The keyword sits where search engines need it, in the H1 and the opening line, while the page keeps Suite702’s own voice.

Category and product copy written across the full range: dekbedovertrekken, kussenslopen, hoeslakens, dekbedden, and the material and colour variants within each category. Each built around how buyers search at the moment they are deciding what to buy.

All copy was structured for clarity at every level: short sentences, logical heading hierarchy, content organised around the questions buyers ask before they choose. This is how content surfaces in AI-generated answers and search overviews.

A crawl uncovered 8,000+ 404 errors, redirect chains affecting how authority flows through the site, and missing schema markup across product pages. We delivered a prioritised technical audit and schema implementation plan, giving the development team a clear and sequenced list of fixes.
